This project allows Vectren to convey flyash pneumatically from its units at AB Brown to a storage silo near West Franklin, Indiana. The flyash is then conveyed by a pipe conveyor to a barge load tower on the Ohio River where the ash is transferred to a barge and shipped to a cement producer. This process allows Vectren to eliminate the need to dispose of the ash in an on-site ash pond.
