Vectren AB Brown - Dry Fly Ash
Vectren AB Brown Dry Fly Ash
This project allows Vectren to convey flyash pneumatically from its units at AB Brown to a storage silo near West Franklin, Indiana. The flyash is then conveyed by a pipe conveyor to a barge load tower on the Ohio River where the ash is transferred to a barge and shipped to a cement producer. This process allows Vectren to eliminate the need to dispose of the ash in an on-site ash pond.

Located In Evansville, Indiana, PCI provided structural, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical design services for a 10,000 sf Amazon rain forest exhibit at Mesker Park Zoo and Botanical Gardens. The exhibit is a total immersion exhibit showcasing plants and animals from the Amazon area and takes the visitor on a tour from the forest canopy to the forest floor.
